WITH the 45th anniversary of Southampton winning the FA Cup fast approaching, fans have a unique opportunity to get their name in the credits of a brand new movie telling the story of how Southampton went to Wembley and won the cup.

Lawrie & The Boys of 76 features new and exclusive interviews with members of the squad including manager Lawrie McMenemy and captain Peter Rodrigues.

The film is set to be released on May 1, the day of the anniversary, but fans have until midnight on Sunday to order their copy to write their name into the history of 1976.

Project director Michael Kurn said: “As a massive Saints fan myself, this project is all about keeping the memories of '76 alive. Everyone has a great story about the final and can tell you where they were when the bus went through Southampton. Rekindling those memories is what Lawrie & The Boys Of 76 is all about.

"The cup final means so much to the city and we wanted to give fans the chance to be part of it. It’s not everyday you can have your name in the credits of a movie."

As well as being in the credits of the movie supporters names will also be printed in the limited edition DVD artwork and the accompanying book Life Of A Saint: Cup Winners Edition.

To get your name in the credits all you need to do is order your copy via lifeofasaint.co.uk by Sunday evening.

Proceeds from the project are going to the players of 76 as a thank you from the fans and also to the Saints Foundation to help them continue their fantastic work in the community.
