A MAN has been arrested after a large quantity of drugs were seized from a Hampshire property.

Yesterday, police attended an address in Toynbee Road, Eastleigh to carry out a concern for welfare check.

Upon entering, a large quantity of Class B drugs was discovered and seized.

After a further search a quantity of Class A drugs, drug-related paraphernalia and mobile devices were also found and seized as evidence.

A 59-year-old from Eastleigh has now been arrested on suspicion of possession of a Class B drug, possession of a Class A drug with intent to supply and possession of a Class B drug with intent to supply.

He has been released under investigation as police continue their enquiries.
