TWO MEN have been arrested following a break-in at a Southampton supermarket.
Police were alerted to reports of a burglary at the Lidl Store off Banister Road.
Officers attended and arrested two men aged 21 and 26 in the early hours of Wednesday.
The 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary and possession of a Class B drug.
Meanwhile, the 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary.
Both of no fixed address, remain in police custody at this time.
A police spokesperson said: "We were called at around 1.40am this morning, Wednesday, March 3 to a report of a burglary at Lidl on The Avenue, Southampton."
