TWO men have been charged following a burglary at a Southampton supermarket. 

Kini Hailstone, aged 26 and Mitchell Reynolds, aged 21, both of no fixed abode, appeared at Southampton Magistrates’ Court today, Thursday, 4 March, charged with non-dwelling burglary.

Reynolds was also charged with possession of Class B drugs – cannabis.

It comes after police were called to reports of a burglary at Lidl on Banister Road  at 1.40am on Wednesday, March 3. 

At today’s hearing, Reynolds pleaded guilty to both offences and was sentenced to a total of 15 weeks in jail and ordered to pay £130 fine.

Hailstone pleaded not guilty to non-dwelling  burglary. He has been remanded in custody and will next appear in court on March 10.
