A MAN in his 20s has been stabbed following an attack in Southampton.
Emergency services raced to Kingsbury Road after receiving reports of an assault.
A man in his 20s suffered a stab wound at around 4.40pm on Friday.
An air ambulance crew and police were spotted off Empress Road in the Northam area of the city.
A police spokesperson said: "We were called at 4.42pm yesterday afternoon (Friday, March 5) with reports of an assault in Kingsbury Road, Southampton.
"A man in his 20s suffered a stab wound. Officers attended the scene."
Enquiries are said to be ongoing and anyone with any information is urged to call police on 101.
