All eight of these darling newborns have come into the world in Hampshire hospitals, completely oblivious to the masks of the midwives and the strange world in which we are all currently living.

With many new parents not able to show off their tiny bundles of joy to extended family and close friends just yet, we're doing the honours for them.

MEET Elsie Oneill from Hedge End, a 10lbs 3oz baby sister for Ellis, born on Halloween at Princess Anne Hospital. 

7lbs 5oz Olivia Noelle was late to the party, joining the Savage family of Blackfield 13 days overdue on November 16.

MEGAN Elizabeth joined the Bran family from Totton on August 2, weighing 8lbs 12oz. 

IT'S smiles all round from 7lbs 1oz Layton Jamie Swain from Totton, born on September 16. 

6lbs lockdown baby Bailey Fox was welcomed into the world in Southampton on January 14.

NEW Year's Day baby, 8lbs 10oz Felix Christopher John Southwell, is celebrating recovering from two operations. 

EASTLEIGH tot Levi Celestino Dawkins weighed 6lbs 15oz when he came into the world in Winchester on January 9.

ARCHIE Jackson Byles, who weighed 6lbs 11oz in Southampton on December 18, has certainly brightened up lockdown for new parents Emma and Lee.
