A MAN has been arrested for firearm offences following a fight in a Hampshire town centre.
Police raced to Market Street in Eastleigh following reports of an altercation involving two men.
A man was assaulted and allegedly threatened with a firearm, before he fled the area.
According to police, the incident happened at around 8.45pm on Friday, March 5 behind some businesses premises.
Officers later seized a weapon and arrested a 19-year-old man from Bishopstoke on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
However, he has since been released on bail.
