UPDATE 12/3/21: Police have said they have identified the man and "no criminal offences have been committed."
A MAN is reported as having behaved 'suspiciously' after two incidents of approaching a mother and child in Fareham.
Fareham Police did not specify the exact nature of the incidents but appealed to the public for information to aid their investigation.
The incidents took place in The Vale, Locks Heath on March 9 &10 around the same time and the man was described as "elderly."
This morning (March 11) Fareham Police posted on Facebook: "We are aware of reports of suspicious incidents near to The Vale, Locks Heath, this week after two incidents where a mother and child were approached by an elderly man.
"The incidents are reported to have happened between 3.15pm and 3.30pm on Tuesday 9 March, and between the same time period on Wednesday 10 March."
"We are investigating these reports to establish the exact circumstances."
