NEW Look is to permanently close in Westquay, and will be replace by a new retailer.
New Look has confirmed to the Daily Echo that their Westquay Southampton branch has permanently closed.
No reason for the closure was given, but the new FLANNELS store is to be taking over the former New Look unit, as confirmed by Westquay.
As previously reported, Hammerson has announced that retailer FLANNELS is to open a new store in its flagship destination Westquay.
The 21,000 sq ft unit is expected to open in the autumn and will be the brand’s first store on the South Coast.
The investment is part of Frasers Group’s wider elevation strategy and ongoing commitment to luxury retail experiences.
FLANNELS’ parent company Frasers Group said: “This new location demonstrates the Group’s confidence in our elevation strategy and commitment to opening luxury retail destinations throughout the UK."
