Southampton drink driver is banned from roads
A SOUTHAMPTON man was caught almost five times the drink drive limit.
Pawel Kwiatkowski was caught at the wheel of a Volkswagen Passat in Mayfield Road.
The 37-yea-old of Cumbrian Way had 172 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
The legal limit is 35 microgrammes making him 4.9 times the limit.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court he pleaded guilty to the offence which happened on January 23 this year.
He was handed an interim disqualification and is due to be sentenced on April 13.
