Here we are again, another City of Southampton council tax bill lands on the doormat with a thump.
And here we are, again, with the city council's annual smokescreen and mirrors presentation regarding the increase in the precept to fund adult social care.
An actual increase of 33% is massaged into the figures so that the council can claim this is only 3% (I invite readers to check their bills).
I wonder how many overburdened council tax payers can actually ever avail themselves of (this particular) adult social care; any?
