I DISAGREE with Jon Walters, that the arrests of those women, on Clapham Common, were a disgrace.
In my opinion they were almost inevitable.
Those people went there knowing that what they were doing was illegal.
Attending a demonstration, is not one of the reasons to be out of the house during this covid-lockdown.
The police were in a no-win situation; they had to uphold the law.
While I have every sympathy with the reasons for the concern that those people were expressing, I cannot agree with the way that they were expressing them.
