Jailed for series of attacks
A MAN has been jailed for a series of attacks against a "defenceless woman".
Jack Couper launched three "completely unjustified" attacks against a defenceless woman, a court heard.
The 25-year-old of Hillyfields in Nursling was charged with three counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court he pleaded guilty to the offences which happened on July 4, September 13 and November 29 last year.
He was jailed for a total of nine months.
