A HAMPSHIRE man has avoided jail after being caught with three drugs in his system.

Joshua Paul Vince was found to have traces of ketamine, MDMA and the by-product of cocaine - Benzoylecgonine - in his blood.

The 23-year-old had been pulled over in a Vauxhall Astra on London Road, Portsmouth. Vince, of Station Road, Park Gate was charged with a single count of drug driving following the incident on April 14 last year.

Appearing before Portsmouth Magistrates' Court he was committed to prison for eight weeks, suspended for 12 months.

He was given a three-year ban and must pay £85 court costs and a £128 victim surcharge.
