WE KEEP hearing about equality.
We keep hearing about discrimination.
Why is it that if you live in Scotland you get your free bus pass at age 60?
If you live in Wales you get your free bus pass at age 60.
If you live in Ireland, yes you’ve guessed it, you get your bus pass at age 60.
So why is it if you live in England, you cannot get your bus pass until retirement age?
We are all residents of the United Kingdom, we all get our pension at the same age, regardless of which area we live.
I call the bus pass scandal sheer discrimination.
