A 62-YEAR-OLD man was caught riding a motorbike almost three times the drink driving limit.
Paul Dennis was stopped riding a Derbi motorbike on Ringwood Road in Bransgore.
A roadside test revealed he had 101 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath.
The legal limit is just 35 microgrammes.
Dennis of Hardy Close, New Milton pleaded guilty to the drink driving offence which happened on December 23 last.
Appearing at Southampton Magistrates' Court, he also indicated a guilty plea to possessing a locking knife.
He was disqualified for 36 months and fined £500.
Dennis was given a community order until December 21 this year to include 12 rehabilitation activity days.
He must also pay £85 in court costs and a £95 victim surcharge.
