IN THE COURTS: 12 people who have appeared at Southampton Magistrates' Court

ADAM GALLAGHER, 34, of Mansel Court, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to drink driving and driving without insurance. Disqualified for 12 months and fined £120. Ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

ROBERT GLYN JONES, 32, of Dane Close, Blackfield. Indicated a plea of guilty to four counts of shoplifting and pleaded guilty to assault by beating. Community order made until May 5 this year. Will be subject to a six week electronically monitored curfew between 7pm and 7am each night. Ordered to pay £40 compensation.

DANIEL MARTYN TURNBULL, 32, of High Road, Southampton. Indicated a plea of guilty to failing to notify police or probation of a buying a new mobile phone which he was prohibited from doing under a sexual harm prevention order. Fined £93. Ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

MICHAEL JONATHON GIBBS, 49, of Botley Road, Horton Head. Pleaded guilty to drink driving. Disqualified for 22 months and fined £69. Ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge and £40 court costs.

CHORLEY LEVI LAXTON, 20, of Taranto Road, Southampton. Indicated a plea of guilty to breaking the conditions of a criminal behaviour order. Will be made the subject of a seven week electronically monitored curfew between 7pm and 7am each day.

WALDEMAR MAREK HAWRO, 32, of Bridge Road, Southampton. Pleaded guilty to theft and resisting a police constable in the execution of his duty. Discharged conditionally for 12 months and must pay £300 compensation. Ordered to pay £22 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

LEE THOMAS WHITTAKER, 31, of Doris Bunting Road, Romsey. Admitted breaching the requirements of a community order. Committed to prison for three weeks.

LEWIS MATTHEW BUTT, 28, of Portal Road, Bishopstoke. Pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified and without insurance. Committed to prison for three months, suspended for 12 months. Rehabilitation activity requirement of 25 days and must complete 80 hours of unpaid work. Must pay £128 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Disqualified for 18 months.

JONATHAN WARWICK BARTON, 37, of Olive Road, Southampton. Indicated a plea of guilty for having an pointed article in a public place. Committed to prison for four months, suspended for 18 months. Drug rehabilitation requirement to include 20 activity days. Ordered to pay £128 victim surcharge and £400 court costs.

DAVID NORWOOD MILLER, 44, of Redbridge Hill, Southampton. Found guilty of harassment. Committed to prison for three months, suspended for 18 months. Rehabilitation requirement of six says , must participate in an accredited programme for 19 days. Ordered to pay £620 court costs and £128 victim surcharge.

KARIN ULRIKA TRAVERS, 48, of Milton Road, Southampton. Indicated a guilty plea to shop lifting. Discharged conditionally for 12 months. Ordered to pay £22 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

CHARLIE BERRY, 18, of Coppice Close, Ashley, New Milton. Pleaded guilty to drink driving. Disqualified for 12 months and fined £300. Ordered to pay £34 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.
