AN APPEAL has been launched to locate items of jewellery that were stolen last week. 

At some time between 4pm on Friday and 2pm on Saturday, jewellery was stolen from a house in Boarhunt. 

The owner, a woman in her 90s, was not at home when this took place. 

Now an appeal has been launched to try and locate the items. 

A police spokesperson said: "If you see these items for sale online, or if someone offers to sell them to you please get in touch with police.
