MORE than 80 new coronavirus cases have been recorded in Hampshire in 24 hours. 

Public Health England figures - as recorded on the Government website at 4.48pm today - show that 88 more people have tested positive for the virus in a 24 hour period.

Across the county, there has been a total of 91,488 positive tests since the start of the pandemic in March 2020 - around 6.64 per cent of the county's population.

  • Fareham: 0 (5,203)

  • Havant: 6 (6,992)
  • New Forest: 5 (6,097)
  • Portsmouth: 8 (14,170)
  • Rushmoor: 5 (7,686)
  • Southampton: 24 (14,385)
  • Test Valley: 5 (5,278)
  • Winchester: 0 (4,889)
