SOUTHAMPTON City Council has issued an apology today as "many" communal bins in tower blocks in the west of the city were left unemptied this morning.
This is due to a vehicle breakdown and the council has said they are aiming to make the collection tomorrow.
In a post on Twitter, Southampton City Council said: "Due to vehicle breakdown we've been unable to make many collections from the tower blocks or flats in the West of the city that have the large metal communal bins.
"We're sorry for any inconvenience caused and will attempt to make collection tomorrow or [as] soon as possible."
The Daily Echo has contacted Southampton City Council for a more precise location, but they declined to comment.
