A SOUTHAMPTON woman must fork out almost £900 for not having a valid train ticket and for being abusive.
Charmain Hunt took a train from Basingstoke train station without having a valid ticket, according to court documents.
The 30-year-old of Millbrook Road East was also charged with using threatening, abusive, obscene or offensive language at Southampton train station the same day.
She was proved guilty of the offences which happened on October 15 last year under the single justice procedure.
Portsmouth Magistrates' Court fined her £660. She must also pay a £66 victim surcharge and £140 in costs.
