HAMPSHIRE youngsters can look forward to their very own theatre.

Titchfield Festival Theatre has launched a new show, especially for children.

It is adapting a series of plays to keep them entertained during the spring and the summer.

The brand new Children’s Festival Season starts on April 12 with an adaptation of the Three Little Pigs, adapted by Sassy Harvey.

Sassy, TFT’s Youth and Outreach Coordinator said, “Theatre is great for kids. It is engaging – and it is a totally different experience to other activities; entertaining, too. TFT is really keen to encourage a love of theatre for younger audiences which is why we have produced the new shows.

“Many are original scripts, such as Three Little Pigs and The Elves and the Shoemaker. Others, for example, The Cat in the Hat, are familiar and much-loved stories.”

The show can be streamed via the theatre's website on April 12 and 13.

It is hoped it will reopen to the public in May, once covid restrictions are further lifted.
