A DOCTORS surgery is offering appointments again after it was forced to close when a fire broke out.
On Tuesday, a fire started in an electrical cupboard in Brook Lane Surgery in Sarisbury Green.
The blaze spread to the roof area and meant that the building had to be evacuated and closed.
Now though, the surgery has reopened with appointments continuing for registered patients.
Some appointments may be held at Fareham Community Hospital or at Lockswood Surgery, Locks Heath however.
Practice Manager Carolyn Hill, said: “Unless they have already been contacted by us with other arrangements, patients who already have appointments should still come to Brook Lane, where they may get redirected.
“Patients who want to make appointments should still ring the usual number. They will get redirected to a mobile.
"We would like to thank patients for their patience and understanding."
