HIGH-VALUE watches and gaming consoles have been stolen in a burglary at a city property.
On Tuesday, at some time between 12pm and 2.45pm, items were stolen from a property on St Anne's Road, Woolston.
A number of high-value watches and two gaming consoles were taken, in an "untidy" search of the address.
Now an appeal has been launched as police hunt for witnesses to the burglary.
A police spokesperson said: "We are appealing for witnesses, or anyone with information, to come forward following a burglary in the Woolston area.
"Were you in the area at the time? Did you see anyone acting suspiciously? Perhaps you have been offered a high-value watch or games console for sale at a cheap price?
"Anyone with information relating to this incident is asked to call 101, quoting 44210129076. Alternatively, you can contact independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
