I am sad.
Not very long ago we had a lovely area in Andover where a path ran alongside te river and there were seats sheltered by a stone wall where people sat to watch the river and its wildlife and some fed the ducks.
Now all that is gone and there is just a lone seat set out in the open like a sore thumb - pretty draughty too.
Who on earth is responsible for this act of vandalism?
This path has been there for decades and therefore would have been a legal right of way a therefore its destruction is an illegal act.
This area could so easily have been kept and the new path would have indeed have enhanced it.
Three nd a half million pounds and we have been robbed of our river frontage - some deal.
