UPDATE: All lanes have now reopened.
THERE are almost an hours worth of delays on the M27 after an eight vehicle crash closed two lanes.
Lanes one and two of three on the M27 Eastbound are currently closed after a crash between Junction eight and Junction nine near Locks Heath.
A white Ford Transit van, a red Renault Kadjar, a grey Vauxhall Astra, a black Honda Civic, a grey Ford Focus, a blue Citroen C1, a white BMW Hybrid and a yellow Vauxhall Corsa were involved in the crash in the first lane of the carriageway.
Three people reported minor injuries but no-one was seriously injured.
Police are currently investigating the incident.
A police spokesperson said: "We were called at 4.01pm to reports of a multi-vehicle road traffic collision on the M27 eastbound between junctions 8 and 9."
Delays are said to be at 45 minutes currently with five miles of congestion on approach.
Motorists are being advised to allow extra time for journey's and take care when approaching the incident.
