HAVING lived in this wonderful town for over 50 years, it is with a heavy heart that I have to advise your fellow readers of yet more car vandalism occurring in Romsey town centre on Saturday evening.
Fortunately, as we advance in years, these things do become less important, as no one was hurt, and it’s only a car.
I do consider it rather unfortunate, however, that we are unable to maintain the police presence and enthusiasm shown during the year long pandemic, when police were present on an almost daily basis.
But it’s obviously all down to budgets and man management during these difficult times.
On a more positive note, I am so pleased to have invested in an excellent dash cam camera, which has some wonderful coverage from Saturday evening, and I will keep you up to date with developments.
