POLICE were called to an incident at a block of flats in Southampton in which one man was allegedly assaulted.
Reports say South Central Ambulance Service was also called to the property in White Star Place at around 1pm.
One person said the incident involved a fight between several men. They added that four police cars arrived at the scene, plus two ambulances.
A police spokesperson said: "We were called at 12.57pm with reports of a disturbance at an address in White Star Place.
"Officers attended and it was reported that during the incident a man had had some personal possessions taken.
"The man was also reportedly assaulted during the incident.
"A 35-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of theft, and a 40-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of theft and common assault. They remain in custody at this time."
South Central Ambulance Service has been contacted for comment.
