A PEDESTRIAN suffered head injuries after being hit by a car last night.
Romsey Road in Winchester was closed from 9pm to the early hours of this morning.
A spokesperson for Hampshire Constabulary said: "The pedestrian suffered head injuries and the road was closed while officers and the ambulance service attended."
Residents took to Facebook to inform others of the road closure.
One said that the closure was in place between Hillier Garden Centre and the County Arms.
