This image, captured in 1980, shows High Street, Swanage. The Square is just to the right of the picture and beyond that is The Fish Place - a chippy still open for business to this day.

This picture was taken from Station Road, Swanage in the 1980s. Clothing store Pride can be seen on the corner of Institute Road and Mowlem Lane. The building is now occupied by The Cornish Bakery.
