A MAN sexually assaulted a 16-year-old girl in Bitterne Road Precinct.
Paul Anthony Remnant was "in alcohol" when he sexually assaulted a teenage girl, according to court documents.
He denied the offence which happened on May 16 last year but was found guilty at Southampton Magistrates' Court.
He was jailed for six months, suspended for two years as he has no similar previous convictions and had not offended for six years.
Remnant, 39, of Fritham Road, Southampton must complete 20 rehabilitation activity days and 12 months alcohol treatment. He must pay £500 compensation and £625 court costs.
He must register as a sex offender for seven years.
