EMERGENCY services attended a town street last night after a car was crashed into a building.
Firefighters and police were called to the crash on St Thomas Street, Lymington just after 9.30pm yesterday where an Audi A3 had collided with a building.
The passenger, a 42-year-old woman was taken to hospital.
Her injuries are not thought to be serious.
The driver, a 26-year-old man from Lymington left the scene but was located nearby shortly after.
He was arrested on suspicion of drink driving and remains in custody at this time.
A structural engineer was called at assess the building with fire crews stepping down just before 11pm.
