REPORTS were made over the weeknd of a large gathering at a church but after attending police confirmed everything was legal.
Officers were called to reports of a large crowd outside St Peter's Church on Lockerley Crescent just before 9pm on Saturday.
It is said that this was in relation to an authorised Easter service at the church.
The service took place between 9pm and 10pm with organisers being spoken to by police upon arrival.
Under current regulations, the church are allowed to facilitate up to thirty people inside.
It was later established that measures had been put in place to ensure social distancing.
Police stayed at the scene until 10pm to help organisers manage social distancing as those in attendance queued to light their candle.
