FOUR people have been arrested after two men were threatened by a gang armed with "a range" of offensive weapons.

Police are appealing for witnesses following a public order incident on May 2 at around 8pm in Eastleigh.

Two men, walking in the Desborough Road / Cranbury Road area of Eastleigh, were approached by a number of people known to them.

An "altercation" broke out with the two victims being threatened by the group, who police believe had a range of offensive weapons in their possession.

The group then fled the area.

A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class A drug, a 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon, dangerous driving and failing to stop for police, a 20-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion being concerned in the supply of a Class B drug and possession of an offensive weapon, and a 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a Class B drug and possession of an offensive weapon.

All four have since been released under further investigation.
