HER bike has been ridden to the New Forest, Farley Mount and across France.
But, most importantly, it keeps her connected to the sights, sounds and smells of Southampton.
Katherine Barbour, from Portswood, is a big fan of her Triban, purchased from Decathlon.
She told the Daily Echo: “I love the colour, it is light and strong.
“It gets me around the city quickly. It has taken me to Lymington where we stopped and had ice creams on the quayside.

“My favourite places to ride are The New Forest, Farley Mount, even France
“I also love riding it around the city and being more connected to the sights, sounds and smells of our amazing city.
“It is a good cardio workout and saves me money on parking and trying to find a parking space.
“Cycling is a great way to get together with the family and to chat and exercise at the same time.”
