A CAR has been completely "destroyed" in an early morning blaze on a Southampton street.
This morning at 1.28am, firefighters were called to Kootenay Avenue, Harefield to deal with a car that was on fire.
Crews from Hightown attended and used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel jet to extinguish the blaze.
The fire service have now informed police of the incident.
A Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service, spokesperson said: "The car was 100 per cent destroyed by fire.
"CCTV footage from neighbours showed that it was dumped and set fire to deliberately."
