A TEENAGE girl has been attacked by an unknown man whilst leaving a food store.
Yesterday at around 7.30pm, a 17-year-old girl was leaving a Co-Op store on Fair Oak Road, Eastleigh when an unknown man approached her.
The man then assaulted the girl outside the food store.
Now police have launched an investigation and want to talk to anyone who witnessed the incident.
A Hampshire Police spokesperson said: "We are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who has information which could aid the investigation.
"Were you in the area at the time? Perhaps you have dash cam footage around the time of the incident?
"Anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting 44210172419.
"Alternatively, you can contact independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111."
