MORE than 40 new coronavirus cases have been recorded in Hampshire in 24 hours.
Public Health England figures - as recorded on the Government website at 4pm today - show that 43 more people have tested positive for the virus in a 24 hour period.
Across the county, there has been a total of 93,030 positive tests since the start of the pandemic.
The confirmed cases by local authority on May 6:
- Basingstoke and Deane: 2 (8,147 in total since start of pandemic)
- East Hampshire: 4 (4,884);
- Eastleigh: 3 (5,865)
- Fareham: 2 (5,266)
- Gosport: 1 (3,875)
- Hart: 2 (4,354)
- Havant: 1 (7,082)
- New Forest: 5 (6,205)
- Portsmouth: 6 (14,307)
- Rushmoor: 3 (7,739)
- Southampton: 13 (14,861)
- Test Valley: 0 (5,415)
- Winchester: 2 (4,954)
