TWO people have been taken to hospital after a crash that partially closed a town centre road.
Just before 4pm on Monday, firefighters and ambulance crews were called to a crash on Leigh Road, Eastleigh.
The road had been partially blocked in both directions between Passfield Avenue and Brookwood Avenue.
Fire crews from Eastleigh and Redbridge attended the incident and police were also on the scene.
A South Central Ambulance Service spokesperson said that two adults in one of the cars involved were taken to University Hospital Southampton with minor injuries.
A woman and her three children in the other car were assessed and cleared as uninjured.
A witness claimed that a women was being cut out of a car.
