A DRIVER who failed to stop at the scene of a crash must pay more than £1,000 in costs and fines.
Ben Wilson was the driver of a Ford Fiesta involved in an accident which left a man injured.
However, the 19-year-old of Pinegrove Road, Southampton, failed to stop.
He was also charged with driving without due care and attention following the incident on November 12 last year in Millbrook Road West.
Appearing before Southampton Magistrates' Court, he pleaded guilty to both offences.
His driving record was endorsed with five points and he was fined £1,000.
Wilson must also pay an £80 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.
