WE ARE writing in response to Pam Khan's letter in the letters page on May 1, who has had her milk deliveries stopped after 78 years just because she does not have a computer.

Like you Pam, my friends and I have also had our milk stopped in the Chandler's Ford and Boyatt Wood areas and we know of people in the Southampton area a well.

Apparently elderly people in the Sussex and Kent areas have also been affected, just because none of use own a computer.

We, like you , do not have a computer by choice.

I did write a letter to the Milk and More head office telling them how heartless I thought they were to deliberately push out the old generation.

I explained that these are the people who desperately need their milk delivered and are the ones who have been loyal and supportive to the milkman all of their lives.

It fell on deaf ears.

Milk and More gave us gave us two telephone numbers to find a new milkman, one in the Wimborne area and one in the Ringwood area, obviously no help to us at all.

We nee a businessman to start a new milk delivery company which is not online.

Without a doubt he would be inundated with not only loyal, but extremely grateful customers as well.
