A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of drug offences after officers carried out a stop and search.
A 38-year-old man, from Southampton, has been arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply.
This comes after police carried out a stop and search in Southampton yesterday.
At around 12pm yesterday, officers noticed a suspected drugs deal taking place in the Lansdowne Hill area.
They then carried out a stop and search during which they found a quantity of suspected Class A drugs.
The 38-year-old has since been questioned and released from custody but remains under investigation.
