A HAMPSHIRE prep school is celebrating after achieving "great" results for its Year Six children despite the pandemic.
Year Six students at Sherborne House in Hiltingbury, Chandler's Ford, have collectively achieved five scholarships and a total of 79 places offered from secondary schools.
Overall, the prep school had offers come in from 15 nearby schools to its 41 Year Six pupils with 46 of the offered places coming from independent selective schools.
Five scholarships spanning Academic, Art & Design, Sport and Music were offered from two schools as well.
Sarah Evans, Director of Studies at Sherborne House said the school is "proud of the achievements of all of our children in Year Six".
She added: "A group of our students were awarded scholarships after electing to take entrance exams for their chosen secondary schools.
"Despite a number of the secondary schools altering their application procedure, and the children taking their exams under very unusual circumstances this year academic scholarships were awarded two art scholarships, a drama scholarship and a sports scholarship."
