A DRIVER caused disruption to inquests and court proceedings by continuously beeping their horn for at least 10 minutes.
Winchester City police reported a motorist for “inappropriate use of a horn” yesterday (Wednesday) morning.
The driver was said to be airing their frustration at a lorry blocking a side street whilst delivering goods.
A post on Winchester Police’s Facebook said: “Although some may see this as a petty incident the motorist involved continuously sounded their horn for at least 10 minutes due to a lorry blocking a side road whilst delivering goods.
"The continuous noise of the horn was beyond reasonable and caused disruption to hearings both at the Coroners Court and Crown Court. #Beconsiderate #Patienceisavirtue.”
Hampshire Constabulary has been contacted for more information.
