Eastleigh High Street
A MAN has been attacked and damage has been caused to properties in a town centre.
On March 29, a man was attacked at around 2.15pm on Eastleigh High Street.
Criminal damage was also caused to nearby properties.
Now officers investigating the incident have charged a man.
Marc Smith, 42, of no fixed abode has been charged with one count of assault by beating and two counts of causing criminal damage to property.
He appeared before Southampton Magistrates Court on Monday.
He has been remanded in court until May 17.
