A TEST Valley woman has been banned from the road for drug driving.
Lisa Ann Hughes, 52, was stopped by the police on May 28 last year whilst driving a 06-reg Vauxhall on the A30 near Sutton Scotney, a court heard.
Hughes, of Chapel Lane, Broughton, was tested and found to have illegal levels of cocaine and a cocaine derivative in her blood. She pleaded guilty to both offences.
The reading for benzoylecgonine, the cocaine derivative, was 384µg/L when the legal limit is 50. Her reading for cocaine was 13µg/L when the legal limit is 10.
Magistrates in Basingstoke banned Hughes for 12 months and fined her £120 with a £34 victim surcharge and £35 costs. She was fined £60 for driving with no insurance, which she also admitted.
