A POSITIVE coronavirus case has been reported at a Southampton school.
A member of year 6 at St Mark's Church of England Primary School, in Shirley has tested positive for Covid-19.
The school says it has followed national guidance and identified the children that have been in close contact with the individual child.
These children have now been asked to self isolate for a period of 10 days until May 22.
If these children do not show any further coronavirus symptoms in this time then they are able to return to school as of May 24.
Whilst off, those who are isolating will be reverting back to home-learning, until they are able to return.
In the schools last Ofsted report, it was said that there were 397 pupils at the school, aged between 4 and 11.
