ROADWORKS are set to take place across Southampton next week.
Below is a list of all the works to be aware of if you're travelling in the city by road:
Burgess Road
Temporary two-way lights will be in place from 9:30am – 3:30pm between May 18 and May 20. This is for repairs by BT.
Coxford Road
A road closure will be in place between Vine Road and Warren Avenue from 8pm until 6am on May 17. This is due to repairs on a manhole by Southern Water.
Millbrook Road West / Mountbatten Way
Multiple lane closures will be in place from May 16 until May 30 between 8pm and 6am. This is for maintenance works by SSE.
Millbrook Road West (Service Road)
A full Closure of Millbrook Road West (Service Road) which will slip into a number of phases is continuing to take place.
The work began on February 22 and is due to be finished on June 21.
Work that will impact on the main carriageway of Millbrook Road West is now in play with a lane closure inbound.

Portsmouth Road
Temporary three-way lights will be in place at the junction with Butts Road from May 17 until May 21.
Lights will be in place 24-Hours a day but manually controlled during peak times. This is due to drainage repair work.
Spring Road
The road will be closed between it’s junctions with Station Road and Portsmouth Road for emergency Southern Water works.
The works are currently ongoing and are expected to be complete by May 19.
Thomas Lewis Way
The road is set to be closed between 8pm and 6am for work to repair the St Deny’s Footbridge. Work is currently ongoing until July.
West Quay Road
Lane closures will be in place overnight between 8pm and 6am from May 19 until May 22 to refresh lining.
Winchester Road
Temporary two-way lights will be in place between Warren Avenue and Romsey Road from May 18 until May 24.
Lights will be in place 24-hours a day and manned at peak times whilst SGN undertakes a customer connection.
Winchester Road
The road is due to be closed between Malvern Road to Bladon Road from 8pm until 6am on May 19. This is due to repairs on a manhole by Southern Water.
Woodmill Lane
The Bridge between Oliver Road and Manor Farm Road will be closed until further notice due to a dangerous building.
