A SOUTHAMPTON man has been laned with a £200 fine and banned from the roads for drink driving.
Kevin Alexander was stopped driving a Nissan Juke on Tanners Lane in Fareham.
When breathalysed, the 48-year-old of Schooner Way, gave a reading of 92mgs.
The legal limit is just 35mgs, making him more than two and a half times the limit.
He pleaded guilty to the offence which happened on February 4 this year.
Appearing before Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court he was fined £200 and disqualified from driving for 23 months.
He must also pay £85 court costs and a £34 victim surcharge.
