ALMOST 2,000 cannabis plants worth around £3.8m were seized in Southampton city centre.
Police officers swooped on properties in Castle Way and the High Street earlier in the year.
They took apart two separate cannabis factories and initially arrested a pair of men on suspicion of producing a class B drug.
The men, in their 20s, were later treated as potential victims of modern-day slavery.
However, enquiries surrounding the 1,782 cannabis plants seized on February 10 are ongoing.
And, no further arrests have been made.
Anyone with any information is urged to call police on 101.
